I am a Junior High Art Teacher turned Stay at Home Mom. I received my Bachelors in Fine Arts and my Masters in Art Education. For as long as I can remember, I love loved to make things!!!
As an artist, my current passion is acrylic painting and mixed media collage work. I basically taught myself how to paint, and have been experimenting with various techniques ever since. I also dabble in stained glass, sewing, and building things! :D
As a teacher, I LOVE helping people realize they too can create!!! Especially as a Junior High teacher, I encounter many students who have little faith in their ability. After teaching adults, I realized they are just bigger junior highers with the same insecurities! None the less, I really do believe that anyone can be an artist!
As a Stay at Home Mom, I am trying to get my own business off the ground. With a little one around, I work hard to create custom designs for clients, family and friends. I have also found that my passion for art has increased beyond measure! I am constantly inspired, motivated, and excited to put a piece of me out into the world, and I hope you enjoy following my journey as I do!
